Dall’11 al12 giugno si terrà a Reggio Emilia la Summer School internazionale DIVERSITY AT WORK, organizzata da Comune di Reggio Emilia, Fondazione Mondinsieme e DarVoce, con il supporto del programma Intercultural Cities del Consiglio d’Europa e della Commissione Europea. DIVERSITY AT WORK è una rilevante opportunità formativa poiché verranno illustrate le migliori pratiche a livello nazionale ed internazionale in tema di diversity advantage. La summer school si rivolge a tutti i soggetti interessati alla tematica del cultural diversity advantage, in particolare: amministrazioni locali, regionali e nazionali; associazioni di categoria e singole aziende; studenti universitari; agenzie interinali; giovani di origine straniera; scuole superiori; università; terzo settore e associazioni.

On June 11-12, 2015 Reggio Emilia is going to host DIVERSITY AT WORK. International Summer School on Diversity Advantage, organized by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, Intercultural Centre Mondinsieme, and the voluntary work centre DarVoce, with the support of the Council of Europe and European Commission' s programme, Intercultural Cities. DIVERSITY AT WORK is a relevant learning opportunity as it deals with a selection of Italian and international best practices on diversity advantage. The Summer School is open to everyone interested in the issue of cultural diversity advantage, such as: local, regional and national public administration and decision-making bodies; trade associations; companies and firms; undergraduate and graduate students; work agencies; youth with foreign origins; high-schools; universities; associations and no-profit organizations.

Il progetto mira a individuare e condividere le migliori pratiche e metodologie in materia di insegnamento/apprendimento delle competenze interculturali, offrendo una formazione efficace per imprese disposte a beneficiare di strategie di sviluppo improntate alla diversità culturale e a giovani di origine straniere che desiderano migliorare il proprio profilo professionale.
The project aims at identifying and sharing the best practices and methodologies in teaching and learning intercultural competences by providing an effective training for companies and youth. The project enables companies to develop or strengthen their intercultural competences, to take full advantage of cultural diversity; moreover it empowers young people in getting a more competitive position in the labour market. |

Il progetto intende promuovere mobilità sociale e rappresentanza delle diversità nei luoghi decisionali sia pubblici sia privati, che in Europa restano ancora basse nonostante un tessuto sociale multiculturale. A partire da un'iniziativa della Maytree Foundation a Toronto, si intende favorire la condivisione di conoscenze e progetti nelle città delle organizzazioni partner.
The project promotes social mobility and representation of people with foreign origins in public and private decision-making bodies, which in Europe remain very low in spite of a multicultural social fabric. It would like to establish an European network to share knowledge and boost projects in the cities of the partner organizations, based on the initiative DiverCity on Board proposed by Maytree Foundation in Toronto, Canada. |
